Like other transport offices, the Vijayawada office handles vehicle registration, transfer of ownership, hypothecation changes, duplicate RC, fitness for transport vehicles and driving licences. Many of these can now be started online on the official Parivahan Sewa portal, and the office then checks documents or the vehicle where needed. For address, timings and fees, check the state transport department website.
