Every code page and state list is built by a program from one master list of RTO codes. That list was put together from state transport department sources and public lists, as described in our fact-checking policy. Because one list feeds every page, a correction made once shows up everywhere.
Guides
Our guides on number plate format, plate colours, HSRP, BH series and choice numbers are drafted with the help of AI writing tools, following a strict brief that asks for official sources. A person reads each guide before it goes live.
